Marshall Golf Club

The Marshall Golf Club sports one of the top courses in Southwest Minnesota. As Dakota Tour Pro, Jessie Talott described it, “A beautiful and well-designed golf course hardly explains Marshall Golf Course. This course might be the best hidden secret in Minnesota.” The course sprawls 6,601 yards over its 18 holes and sports a 72.2 rating with a slope rating of 136 from the championship tees.
The course is challenging for all levels of golfers. The greens are fast and sloped. The fairways are tight, tree lined, and lush. Most holes have water hazards or bunkers that challenge golfers to shape their shots. The Redwood River meanders through the Marshall Golf Club course providing not only a pleasing backdrop, but also contributing to the courses design. The Redwood River runs through the middle of the fairways on the fifth and eighteenth holes.
The Marshall Golf Club received the prestigious 2011 Club of The Year Award from the Minnesota Golf Association (MGA). The MGA Club of The Year Award is given annually to a Club who displays excellence in enhancing the game of golf in Minnesota. MGC has hosted numerous amateur championships including the 1999 MGA Women’s Mid-Amateur, the MWGA Senior Four-Ball (2000), and the MGA Junior Team (2008). In addition, the club played host to the MGA-PGA Cup Matches in 1990. Marshall Golf Club also annually hosts a tour stop for the Dakotas Tour.
